One of the great things about having a blog is you can occasionally go off-topic. This is one of those times! I wanted to let readers in Boston and Cambridge know about an upcoming concert by the Metropolitan Chorale of Brookline, under the direction of Lisa Graham. On March 9 at 8 pm, at Harvard’s Sanders Theater, we’ll be performing Ralph Vaughan Williams’s Sea Symphony! For those who don’t know the piece, it’s a wonderfully English setting of some poems from Walt Whitman’s Leaves of Grass.

Our soloists will be Robert Honeysucker, baritone, and Dana Schnitzer, soprano. And somewhere in the tenor section will be yours truly. Tickets are $30 at the door or via the Harvard Box Office or the Brookline Booksmith ($25 for seniors or students). Or you can order them from me.
