Canada v. Merlini: Canada’s Reply Brief

For those of you following the Merlini case, Canada filed its reply brief last week. The case is scheduled to be discussed at the Court’s May 21 conference. It’s possible though by no means certain that we will know what the court will do on May 25, but it’s also quite possible given the subject-matter of the case that the Court could call for the views of the Solicitor General, which would put off any decision about whether to take the case until the fall.
