Letters Blogatory Congratulates Christophe Bernasconi

Christophe Bernasconi
The New Secretary-General
Letters Blogatory congratulates Christophe Bernasconi, the new Secretary General of the Hague Conference on Private International Law. Dr. Bernasconi, formerly deputy secretary general, took over from Hans van Loon on July 1. The Hague Conference does important work in developing the law and practice under existing conventions such as the Service, Evidence, and Apostille Conventions as well as in relation to newer conventions such the Choice of Court Agreements Convention. I wish him well in his new position!
