Well, I still don’t know what caused the Letters Blogatory Crash of 2012, but the good news is that we seem to be back in business, with everything back to the way it was. Yesterdays’ comments are irretrievably lost, sad to say, but that’s about the extent of the damage. Thank you to everyone who reached out today to offer help, sympathy, and support. I did learn something today—backups work! If you are a blogger, and you do not back up your material regularly, take today’s example to heart! If I had not had a backup, nearly two years of effort would have vanished.
