Bienvenue à Lettres Blogatoires!

Flag of France

Readers, I am very pleased to announce the arrival of the latest blog in the Letters Blogatory family—Lettres Blogatoires! As you know, I write primarily about American cases. I was very glad that my colleagues Javier Ochoa and Claudia Madrid volunteered to found Cartas Blogatorias, which brings you articles from throughout Latin America. Now Fanny Cornette has taken up the torch. Fanny was formerly with the Hague Conference and earned her Ph.D. in private international law from the University of Rouen. If you read French, I encourage you to check it out!

Fanny’s first post is a guest post by Françoise Andrieux, president of the International Union of Judicial Officers. I anticipate posts by many other interesting and informative guests, as well as by Fanny herself. On the topic of the UIHJ, let me just say that I’m extremely impressed that it has its own museum.
