On Friday, November 2, the University of Pennsylvania Law School’s Journal of International Law will be hosting its Fall 2012 Symposium, in association with the International Human Rights Advocates and the International Law Organization. The title is “Mass Torts in a Shrinking World.” There will be four panels with some really outstanding participants, including Michael Traynor, John B. Bellinger III, Roger Alford, and Judith Kimerling, to name a few.
I was very happily surprised and honored to be invited to be a part of the second panel, “Recognition in a Corrupt World.” My fellow panelists will be Michael Traynor, a former president of the American Law Institute, now with Cobalt LLP, and Neil Popović of Sheppard Mullin Richter & Hampton, LLP.
I hope those of you who will be in Philadelphia on the 2nd will stop by for what I hope will be a really terrific day of discussion.
