Thanks, Antonio. I agree with this, and in fact last week I voted for Biden. But I didn’t vote for him only strategically‐I prefer him to Sen. Sanders on the merits. We shall see.

However we are not there yet. What is imperative is defeating Trump. To do that we certainly could use the help of reasonable republicans that wish the same. I suspect that Sanders would not be the one to attract more of those votes. I appreciate many of Sander’s qualities, but I fear that some of his visions have come a bit too early for the USA. He is certainly a prophet and trailblazer for ideas necessary for the future of this country. Right now is the count that matters and not the quality of ideas.
