Thanks Peter. I suppose we could distinguish Trump and Johnson in two ways. First, Johnson may be leading the country in a bad way, but he is no fool. Second, the alternative to Johnson, Jeremy Corbin, is in some ways (maybe not all ways) worse than Johnson himself! But I agree with you that there is a lot of similarity.]]></description>

He gives not a jot to law or protocol and will bend any rules if he thinks it will get him what he wants. As a result, as I&#039;m sure you&#039;re aware, he has already been found guilty of illegally proroguing parliament by the Supreme Court. Not that he cares&#8212;he is our Trump. An election looks inevitable, and I hope to God he doesn&#039;t get a majority. But a lot of people seem to like him, and I&#039;m fearing the worst.]]></description>
