Thanks for the comment, Antoinette! I am not sure you are correct. In general, I do not think state law can interfere with a federal officer carrying out his or her duties. Imagine for example that Massachusetts common law forbade arrests on Sunday or something.]]></description>

<p>Thanks for the comment, Antoinette! I am not sure you are correct. In general, I do not think state law can interfere with a federal officer carrying out his or her duties. Imagine for example that Massachusetts common law forbade arrests on Sunday or something.</p>
