Thanks Karen. I guess the question is, what is he selling in return for the funds to represent the Ecuadorans? The answer to that question is key to understanding whether Steven Donziger has violated the court's injunction. As US spokesperson for the Ecuadorans, can you answer that question?

Reading this finally. Steven is raising money to pay for attorneys who need to represent the Ecuadorians because Chevron has paid other US attorneys (Gibson Dunn; Holland & Knight; Jones Day; King & Spalding and others) to sue poor Ecuadorians and their funders because Chevron wants Americans to believe that the Ecuadorians and their supporters (Steven, Aaron Page, me and many others) are evil, corrupt and wrong doers). Bullshit. After working on this case for a decade, I have no faith in anyone with Chevron under their name and no faith in the U.S. judicial system. U.S. courts have battled people of color in this country. They have no sympathy for people of color in other countries. I don't know Lee Grinberg but I'm guessing his hedge fund business is profiting. He could care less about the fate of Ecuadorians, sick, ill and dying from the toxins left behind by Texaco and purchased by Chevron.
