I haven’t heard much from Brazil recently—I wonder what’s going on down there? Well, eagle-eyed reader Larissa Clare Pochmann da Silva reports that Brazil has issued its first apostille. As Larissa reported late last year, Brazil deposited its instrument of accession in December, and in June issued regulations regarding implementation. Larissa tells me that the first apostille was issued on August 15 in São Paulo. I suppose not much business is being transacted in Rio de Janeiro.
