I have removed several comments from a single commenter from this post for an apparent violation of my terms of service. This is not the first time I have done this, though it is the first time in a while, so as a reminder: it’s okay to post using a pseudonym, but whether you post with a pseudonym or with your real name, you do need to provide a real email address. The email address is visible only to me, not to readers. In this case, the commenter provided an email address that looked at first glance as though it might not be real. I wrote to the address to attempt to confirm that the comments came from that address but did not hear back.
