I will say that as to your 2/272013 clarification, they are still not divorced but they filed for divorce in 2012.  There is this strange limbo where courts wont give a couple a divorce decree until the issues are resolved (or maybe are reluctant to not &quot;wont&quot;).  We need a legal status like &quot;divorcing&quot; or something &#039;cause calling them not divorced or married feels wrong.
