I will say that as to your 2/272013 clarification, they are still not divorced but they filed for divorce in 2012. There is this strange limbo where courts wont give a couple a divorce decree until the issues are resolved (or maybe are reluctant to not “wont”). We need a legal status like “divorcing” or something ’cause calling them not divorced or married feels wrong.
