Ian, there are a lot of questions involved here. First, are both the forum state and the EU state parties to the Hague Service Convention. Second, if so, has the EU state made an objection under Article 10(b) and (c). Third, who is a competent person to serve process under the law of the forum state. If the convention does not apply, does the law of the forum state require that the service be effected in accordance with the law of the EU state. And so forth. It&#039;s impossible to answer the question generally, I think.]]></description>
