(One formal question about the letter: why did the plaintiff obtain an apostille? Article 3 of the Convention expressly provides: “No legalisation or other like formality may be required”).

Barghouti appeared in the Jerusalem Magistrate Court yesterday, pursuant to the letter of request. But he refused to testify. A lot of ink spilled for nothing!
