The US is the only country I know of that allows lawyers to act as a submission authority under the Hague Service Convention.

Now what happens when this requirement is applied to service originating in jurisdictions other than the US? Would the clerk of the court be in charge of travelling abroad? Or would the papers be handed back to the plaintiff&#039;s lawyer for delivery?]]></description>
